At Meaningful Metrics, your privacy is our priority. We are committed to protecting the personal information of all clients, families, educators, and website visitors. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we safeguard it in compliance with applicable laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), and New York State privacy standards.

For our continuing education (CEU) courses and online or live workshops, we also collect: attendance records (such as time joined and time left), quiz or knowledge-check results, identity verification data when required by accrediting bodies, and certificate issuance records.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services, meet accreditor or licensing board requirements, or as required by law. For example, we retain course enrollment records, attendance logs, certificate records, and evaluation results for at least 7 years after completion. Live session recordings are retained for 90 days and then deleted. Payment transaction records are kept for the period required by tax or audit obligations.

Children’s Privacy
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. We only collect information about minors with the explicit consent of their parent or legal guardian and use it solely for providing requested services. Our CEU and workshop services are intended for adult professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child, please contact us immediately so we can delete that information.
Learning platforms and video conferencing
Our courses and live workshops are delivered via Zoom and WIx Online Programs. For live sessions we may enable interactive features (such as chat, polls, reactions). We may record live sessions; recordings are available only to registered participants for up to 90 days and then deleted. Your chat messages will not be published publicly unless you post them to a public discussion. Please see the platform’s privacy terms for details.
